Collection Of Information

What information do we collect?: We collect information from you when you register on our site, place an order or subscribe to our newsletter. When ordering or registering on our site, as appropriate, you may be asked to enter your: name, e-mail address, mailing address, phone number or credit card information. You may, however, visit our site anonymously.

What do we use your information for?: Any of the information we collect from you may be used in one of the following ways:

To process transactions- Your information, whether public or private, will not be sold, exchanged, transferred, or given to any other company for any reason whatsoever, without your consent, other than for the express purpose of delivering the purchased product or service requested.

To send periodic emails- The email address you provide for order processing, may be used to send you information and updates on new or existing products pertaining to your current or past order(s). If you decide to opt-in to our mailing list, you will receive emails that may include company news, updates, related product or service information, etc. Note: If at any time you would like to unsubscribe from receiving future emails, we include detailed unsubscribe instructions at the bottom of each email.

How do we protect your information?: We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information when you place an order or access your personal information. We offer the use of a secure server. All supplied sensitive/credit information is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and then encrypted into our Payment gateway providers database only to be accessible by those authorized with special access rights to such systems, and are required to keep the information confidential. After a transaction, your private information (credit cards, social security numbers, financials, etc.) will not be stored on our servers.

Do we use cookies?: Yes . We use cookies to help us remember and process the items in your shopping cart. If you prefer, you can choose to have your computer warn you each time a cookie is being sent, or you can choose to turn off all cookies via your browser settings. Like most websites, if you turn your cookies off, some of our services may not function properly. However, you can still place orders by contacting us directly.

Do we disclose any information to outside parties?: We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information. This does not include trusted third parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business, or servicing you, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential. We may also release your information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect ours or others rights, property, or safety. However, non-personally identifiable visitor information may be provided to other parties for marketing, advertising, or other uses. 

Third party links: Occasionally, at our discretion, we may include or offer third party products or services on our website. These third party sites have separate and independent privacy policies. We therefore have no responsibility or liability for the content and activities of these linked sites. Nonetheless, we seek to protect the integrity of our site and welcome any feedback about these sites.

Childrens' Online Privacy Protection Act Compliance

We are in compliance with the requirements of COPPA (Childrens' Online Privacy Protection Act), we do not collect any information from anyone under 13 years of age. Our website, products and services are all directed to people who are at least 13 years old or older.

SMS/Text Notification Privacy Policy

We will use the information we obtain in connection with our SMS/text messaging in accordance with this SMS/Text Notification Privacy Policy. We collect the following personal information about you in the context of our text messaging program: your name, mobile phone number, and texting preferences (opt-ins and opt-outs). We use this information to manage our text messaging program, including to send you text messages. Your wireless carrier may collect data about your wireless device usage, and its practices are governed by its own policies. We take measures to protect your sensitive personal information but cannot guarantee its security in transit or storage. This SMS/Text Notification Privacy Policy is part of the Your Wine Fairy, LLC Privacy Policy.

Wine Subscription Terms & Conditions Policy

Wine Subscription members must be 21 years or older to join. Wines are shipped either Monthly or Bi-Monthly, in either four (4) or two (2) bottle increments, in accordance with Subscription Member's noted authorization in registration form. Members may cancel, pause or skip a shipment by sending a written (email) request of subscription change to our contact email address 72 hours (3 business days) prior to shipment processing period (SPP)Shipments are billed and shipped/delivered between the 1st and 5th day of every month. Changes not received prior to SPP will be billed and shipped to Subscription Members.  Members are responsible for notifying Your Wine Fairy, LLC of address, billing or contact information changes. Your Wine Fairy, LLC is not responsible for misdirected shipments if Member fails to update their account. Your Wine Fairy, LLC is not responsible for carrier's damage or destruction of packages, nor responsible for theft of a package left unattended at the recipient's address. A person of 21 years or older must be available to sign for package at time of delivery as per carrier requirements. Your Wine Fairy, LLC reserves the right to change and/or discontinue, without notice, any wine subscription frequency, item selection, discounts, benefits, special offers, perks and will clearly communicate said change(s) to membership within a reasonable time period. Wine Subscription benefits are non-transferrable. Wine Subscription shipments and subsequent re-orders are not refundable. If a wine(s) are defective due to bottle condition or corked wine, Your Wine Fairy, LLC will make every effort to replace the defective bottle with same or similar wine. Members may receive sales offers and membership information periodically via email or SMS/MMS. In the unlikely event that a particular wine selection is currently unavailable, either as part of an individual order or as part of a wine case shipped pursuant to a Wine Subscription membership, a substitute of similar style and of equal or greater value will be supplied in your shipment. Your Wine Fairy, LLC has the right to refuse orders should they not comply with the laws in your state or for any other reason and your payment will not be processed for such orders. Your Wine Fairy, LLC shall not be liable for any errors or omissions in product pricing or discounts offered to customers, and in the event of any such error or omission, Your Wine Fairy shall reserve the right to cancel affected orders and refund the charge to you as your sole remedy. This Wine Subscription Policy is part of the Your Wine Fairy, LLC overall company Policies.
